MUZAFFARABAD: Azad Jammu Kashmir (AJK) Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan condemned India’s continuous firing on the Line of Control (LoC) – which resulted in the deaths of civilians and Pakistan Army personnel.
The prime minister denounced the unprovoked Indian firing and aggression in the Khuiratta, Nikyal and Bhimber sectors and paid tribute to the martyred citizens and soldiers. He said that Kashmir has been turned into a state where police and other Indian forces terrorise and oppress the general public with impunity.
Furthermore, he condemned the arrest of Hurriyet leaders and called upon the international community to seriously take notice of the Indian violations at the LoC. He also urged peace-loving nations to play their effective role in resolving the long-standing ‘Kashmir dispute’ for durable peace in South Asia.
