KARACHI: Minister for Interior Affairs Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan arrived here on Sunday and called on Sindh Governor Dr Ishrat ul Ebad at the Governor’s House.
A statement from the Governor’s House said that the overall law and order situation in the province, the on-going military operation in the metropolis and other matters came up for discussion during the meeting.
The governor briefed the minister regarding the operation against terrorists, target killers, kidnapping for ransom and extortion. It was resolved that the operation would continue till the elimination of last terrorist and that it would be taken to the logical conclusion.
It was further pointed out that an improved law and order situation in Karachi, the economic hub of Pakistan, was essential for the economic progress and prosperity.
