ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan National Council of Arts (PNCA), as a part of its talent-hunt programme, has organised a youth drama festival here in the federal capital.
The week-long drama festival will see participants from various educational institutions. The main theme of the dramas is to highlight the social issues being faced by the people and society.
On Thursday, the students of Fatima Jinnah Women University performed the play Zameer Saat Pardon Main and received a big applause from the audience in the jam-packed hall of PNCA Auditorium.
The students of Wafaqi Urdu University (WUU) presented their play Umeed. The students of Quaid-e-Azam University Arid Agriculture University will present the plays Alif Iqbal and Gungee Joroo, respectively, on May 20.
The students of Government Post Graduate College will perform Diya Jilaye Rakhna on May 21. The students of SZABIST are also participating in the festival where they will perform on May 22.
