Section 144 has been imposed across all canals of the division, banning bathing for 90 days from July 21, 2025, for the protection of public safety.
Commissioner Shaheed Benazirabad Division, Nadeem Ahmed Abro, in a message has advised general public to refrain from bathing in floodwaters and canals due to the ongoing flood situation in the Indus River.
He said that water level in canals and branches across the division is rising, posing serious risks to human lives. Commissioner emphasized that citizens must avoid entering floodwaters to prevent loss of precious lives.
