KARACHI: The elections for new Chief Minister of Sindh have been announced to be held on July 29 (Friday).
The nomination papers for CM Sindh slot will be received on Thursday from 9:00am to 5:00pm while the election would be held on Friday at 3:00pm in a Sindh Assembly session, to be summoned by the Sindh Governor.
The newly-elected chief minister would then take an oath of his office at the Governor s House on the same evening which will also be attended by former Prime Ministers Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani and Raja Pervez Ashraf.
The newly-nominated candidate of Pakistan People’s Party, Syed Murad Ali Shah has said that new Sindh cabinet would be announced after consultation with party leadership.
