GHOTKI: Police apprehended a suspect on charges of producing ‘fake currency’ on Sunday.
Deputy Superintend Police (DSP) Abdul Haq Bhutto and Station House Officer (SHO) Rati Zahid Hussain Pahore – while addressing a press conference – claimed to arrest Iftikhar Ahmed, while two of his accomplices managed to escape.
The arrested revealed that a fake currency note printing machine was established at Kot Sabzal area and using it they made millions of rupees.
The police was confident that the fleeing culprits would be soon arrested and a team had been formed for the very purpose – while a case had been registered. The DSP guaranteed that the fraudulent group had been identified and they would be nabbed soon.
