RAWALPINDI: As a result of operation in parts of Rawalpindi District on late Thursday, six militants inclusive of two most wanted commanders were arrested.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), during the operations carried out in Gujjar Khan and Kallar Syedan areas, the raiders also recovered arms and ammunition including prepared improvised electronic devices (IEDs).
The military had kicked off a special operation across the country to eliminate the militants and their hide-outs following a deadly bombing in Quetta that left at least 70 people dead and even more wounded in the blast.
