LAHORE – Sherazi brothers of Sindh belonging to Pakistan Muslim League-N (PMLN) called on the Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday.
On the occasion, the chief minister said that the PML-N’s leadership believed in politics of public service. He said that situation of Pakistan had considerably improved during the tenure of the present government and the country was moving towards progress and prosperity.
He said that the Transparency International Berlin had given better rating to Pakistan with respect to transparency. “Pakistan is the only country among the SAARC in which the rating has improved with regard to transparency and it is a big success of the present government,” he said.
The chief minister said that the PML-N government was determined to overcome energy crisis and terrorism and Pakistan today was peaceful, safe and stable economically than 2013. He said that the challenges being faced by the country would be dealt with collective efforts and wisdom and Pakistan would be steered out of all the crises under the leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.
Those who met the chief minister included Member of National Assembly (MNA) Ayaz Ali Shah Sherazi, Member of Provincial Assembly (MPA) Syed Ejaz Ali Shah Sherazi, former MNA Syed Shafqaat Hussain Sherazi, Syed Riaz Hussain Sherazi and PML-N Thatta District President Haji Muhammad Hanif Memon.
